Where is the Pooch Palace located?

The Pooch Palace is located approximately 14 miles from Iowa City. Take Highway 1 north to Solon, until you come to the blinking yellow light by the water tower. Turn right at the light (E. 5th Street) and continue out of town on E. 5th Street (which becomes 180th Street NE) until you arrive at Utah Ave. (approximately 3 miles). Please note that the sign for Utah Ave. is on the LEFT, and is pretty well hidden! Turn right on Utah Ave. (gravel) and proceed for .7 miles. You will see a sign for the Pooch Palace on your left (1938 Utah Ave.).

The Pooch Palace is located approximately 12 miles from North Liberty. Take Front Street north out of North Liberty. Front Street turns into Mehaffey Bridge Road NE. Stay on this road all the way into Solon. (This road will turn in to 180th Street NE and then W. 5th Street.) At the intersection of Market and W. 5th Street, continue east out of Solon on E. 5th Street and proceed as per the directions above.

The Pooch Palace is located approximately 18 miles from Cedar Rapids. From Cedar Rapids, take 380 south to Exit 13 (the Ely exit). Take a left onto Wright Brothers Boulevard until you come to a stop sign (approximately 3.5 miles). Take a right onto Ely Road. Continue on this road, through Ely, until you get to a T (approximately 6 miles). Take a left onto Highway 382, and follow this road into Solon (approximately 2.6 miles). Turn right onto Market Street and proceed to the blinking light at Market and E. 5th Street. Turn left onto E. 5th Street and proceed as per the directions above.
