Helpful Information for New Boarders

How Do I Make A Reservation?

Reservations are made via e-mail and can be made up to a year in advance.

Please send an e-mail to poochpalace@southslope.net with the dates you're in need of for boarding.

What Are The Requirements For New Clients?

All new clients will need to schedule a complimentary half-hour pre-boarding visit a week or two prior to their first reservation. During the visit we will let your pooch(es) sniff around and get acquainted with us and Pooch Palace. We'll have them meet our greeter dog to assess how they'll do with a new dog in an unfamiliar environment. While that meeting is happening we'll show you around inside and go over any questions or special needs you may have. We will also give you a boarding application for you to take home, fill out, and bring back when you check-in.

All boarders will need to be able to socialize or co-exist with other dogs.

Any dog over 6 months old will need to be spayed/neutered.

They will need to be up-to-date with the following vaccinations:

Bordetella
Distemper
Rabies

(It is also strongly encouraged to be up-to-date with their Lyme and Leptospirosis vaccinations).

What Will It Cost For My Dog To Stay At Pooch Palace?

Your dog will be given the Royal Treatment for $55.00 per night.

The Royal Treatment ensures a stay fit for a king or queen, with full-time care and comfort in a clean, secure and fun environment. Food as scheduled, an endless supply of fresh water, time outdoors to run and play, and time indoors with staff.

For our longer-term guests we offer a 10% discount for visits of 6 nights or longer.

We also offer family discounts for multiple dogs. Dogs from the same family are welcome to share a room, or better yet, a roomy suite!

The Royal Treatment for two dogs sharing a standard room is $80.00 per night; and for three dogs, $95.00 per night.

Additional services are also available. They include the following:

Stay in a suite: additional $5.00 per night
Morning check in, afternoon check out is a half-day charge: $30.00 for 1 dog, $35 for 2 dogs, $40 for 3 dogs
Bath & Brush: short-haired dogs: $20.00, long-haired and curly-coated dogs: $25.00
Pick-up or delivery service: $1.00/mile (depending on availability)
Medications administered: free of charge!
Instagram pictures & videos: free of charge!
